Clarification about yesterday's events - We had a possible COVID exposure we were addressing and in the meantime we had our water line and sewage line hit by subcontractors on campus. Update- We received a negative test result for the possible COVID exposure. For the other issue on campus - water line should be repaired today but sewage line will not be repaired until tomorrow (hopefully). Depending on progress today will determine if we have school tomorrow. There is a possibility that we will have a late start on Thursday at 10am. We will keep you posted. Another message will be sent out by 6:00 pm today. Jr High game will be played in Rochelle on Thursday (not here). Varsity game in Rochelle on Friday as planned. Will need tickets for the games. Thank you for your patience during this time. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email jbordner@cherokeeisd.net or call (325)622-4298.
