Thursday, 10/22 - Jr High plays in Lohn at 6pm. Tickets are needed and limited to 75. Visitors may park along the fence if you have a handicap sign/tag. Friday, 10/23 Varsity game vs Lohn has been cancelled. Senior Night postponed.

Friday - Community Wide Send-off at 4:45 (Boys leaving at 5:00) from the school exit down to the Corner Cafe. Come out and cheer on our Mighty Indians as they travel to take on the Coyotes. Bring your noise makers!! Indians vs. Richland Springs there at 7:30 pm; we are out of tickets. You can catch the livestream at sansabaradio.com.

Thursday - Joint High School and Jr H Pep Rally on the football field at 4pm. Parents invited. Jr High vs. Richland Springs Thursday at 6 pm here. Tickets needed and must follow UIL protocol. Friday - Let's join together to cheer on our Fighting Indians. Community wide Indian Send-off on Hwy 16. Line up at 4:45 from the school exit down to the Corner Cafe. Varsity vs Richland Springs there at 7:30 pm; Please follow UIL protocol (wear masks and practice social distancing between family groups) We are out of tickets for Friday. Tuesday, 10/13 Early Dismissal at 3 pm for all students and staff. District Cross Country Meet in Lometa 9 am - JV Girls, 9:30 JV Boys, 10:30 Varsity Girls, 11:00 Varsity Boys, 3:45 pm JH Girls and 4:15 JH Boys

This week's Jr High game will be in Lometa (not Mullin) at 6 p.m. No tickets required. Masks required. May want to take camping chairs. Friday Homecoming game vs Mullin here at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are required and may be reserved or picked up at the office starting Wednesday. Please continue to follow UIL protocol. Wear face coverings and practice social distancing when not in same family/household groups.

Everyone is invited to attend our monthly PTC Meeting on Monday, October 5th at 5pm on the blacktop. Bring a friend!!!

Parents/Guardians - please continue to screen your child/children for COVID-19 symptoms each morning before coming school. We will not continue temp checks for students at drop-off starting October 1st. We will continue to pass out masks and hand sanitizer at the gate and in the office as needed. Jr H vs. Zephyr on Thurs. 10/1 at 6 pm here. No tickets required. Fri. 10/2 Indians vs. Zephyr Bulldogs, 7:30 pm there. No tickets required. Please continue to follow UIL protocol - masks/face coverings and practice social distancing between family groups. Thank you for your cooperation!! Tickets will be required at all District Jr H and Varsity games both home and away. Fans may reserve tickets starting Wednesdays of each week.

School Picture Day is Wednesday, Sept. 23rd at 9 am. We will be taking the following pictures: Individual, Class Group, JH & HS Football & Cheer, JH & HS Cross Country and Senior Cap & Gown pictures. Don't forget your uniforms!

Cherokee Indians Varsity Football will be playing Irion County (Mertzon) on Friday, Sept. 25th at 7:30 pm there. No tickets needed.

Next week's Jr High and Varsity Football Games vs. Cranfills Gap (9/24 & 9/25) have been cancelled.

Jr High plays in Gustine on Thursday 9/17 at 6 pm. Tickets and masks are required. You may pick up tickets at the school office or call (325)622-4298 to reserve them. Varsity plays Gustine on Friday 9/18 here at 7:30 pm. Tickets and masks are required. You may pick up tickets at the school office. We ran out of tickets last week. Please do not wait and expect to get in at either place without a ticket. We must follow the 50% capacity rule set by UIL. Thank you for helping us by abiding by the UIL protocol so our students may continue to participate in football and cheer!!

FAFSA Night Presented by ASU on October 1st at 5:30 pm, San Saba High School Cafeteria. Seniors and Parents are invited to attend and complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA application. Please bring Student's Social Security #, Student's Driver's License (if any), Parent's Federal Income Tax Return for 2019, Student's alien registration card (if not a US citizen) and FSA ID/Username and password for student and parent.
