Capital Farm Credit Scholarship – Application Deadline 3/4/20. Ten $1,000 one-time scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing a degree related to fields in agricultural or natural resources. This is a local scholarship open only to students in a 12 county territory that includes San Saba County. See Mrs. Franco for application.

ALL EXPENSES PAID TRIP TO WASHINGTON D.C.! Government-in-Action Youth Tour Application Deadline 1/24/20, 5 pm. Three students will be selected. Must complete 10th grade by May 2020. Parents or guardians must be members of Central Texas Electric Co-op. https://ctec.coop/youth-tour

Central Texas Farm Credit Scholarship - Deadline 3/20/20 at 4:00 p.m. This is a local scholarship. Five (5) one-time scholarships in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded. Student must pursue an agricultural related degree. Applications are available at www.ranchmoney.com.

Open House at the Frank Fickett Education Center in Marble Falls (806 Steve Hawkins Parkway). Learn how to go to college without leaving the Highland Lakes region. Receive info about academic programs at CTC & TTU, financial aid, etc. Refreshments served!

Football Schedule Change
Cherokee JH and HS will be playing Panther Creek Friday, November 8, in Panther Creek.
The Junior High game will start at 5:30 and the High School game will follow.
We will dismiss school at 3:00 pm.

The Red Ribbon Week dress up day for Friday, 11/1/19, is “I Am Too BRIGHT To Use Drugs!” – Wear clothes that will glow in black light (bright white, neon, fluorescent). This will double for our blackout pep rally!
