As of 2:12 pm today, the Governor has issued an Executive Order, among other items, that schools will be closed at least until May 4, 2020.

Cherokee ISD Meal Service Expanded!
The District will now be providing meals to all children 18 and younger. Children must live in the district boundaries but do not have to be enrolled. Please contact the office (325) 622-4298 to reserve your meals. Service is Mon-Fri, 9-10:30.

UIL games and contests will resume no earlier than Monday, May 4th. We will reevaluate the beginning dates for practices and rehearsals as we receive more information about schools resuming.

Per order of Governor Abbott, Cherokee ISD will go to Distance Learning through April 3, 2020.
Online Instruction will continue during that time.

The Cherokee ISD Distance Learning Program begins tomorrow. Please read the letter posted on the website under the "MENU" tab.

There has been an update posted to the website. Please read over it for more information regarding Cherokee ISD and Corona virus pandemic.

In light of recent changes within the area, Cherokee ISD will extend Spring Break until Wednesday, 3/18/20. At this time students will be expected to return 3/18/20. Changes will continue to be posted here and on the CISD Facebook page.
Teachers will report for duty 3/16/20, at 9:00 am.
