We know that most people have been without electricity, cell service, water and such. Please do not stress if you are not able to submit assignments!!! If students are able to, then great!! Cherokee ISD will be remote learning on Monday, 2/15/21. High School and Jr H students need to check their email and google classroom. Elementary teachers will be messaging parents through their message groups and/or private FB groups. We understand that the rolling blackouts may have an impact on the remote learning and we will be flexible. A message will be sent out Monday evening as we see how the weather conditions develop.
Varsity boys vs. Richland Springs has been moved to Tuesday at 6pm in Richland Springs
Varsity Girls game vs. Zephyr has moved to 5:30 pm in Goldthwaite today. You will need tickets. Please text (512)940-0628 if you need tickets.
Attention Parents/Guardians: Looking ahead at the weather, there is a good chance we will need to go remote on Monday and possibly Tuesday. We are working on delivering chromebooks and/or packets today if road conditions allow. Teachers will be sending messages through their message groups, Facebook groups or texts. This will be asynchronous learning. We will make the call if we go remote on Sunday. Sorry for the inconvenience. We know this is not ideal, but safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
Varsity Girls vs. Zephyr in Goldthwaite on Friday, 2/12/21, at 6:30 pm. Please wear masks. Tickets are available. You may reserve a ticket by texting (512)940-0628 or email jbordner@cherokeeisd.net. You may pick up your tickets from Cherokee Admin at the door in Goldthwaite between 5:00-6:30 pm. Gate fee $4 and $2; district passes are honored but will still need a ticket to enter.
