1:00pm - scratch meeting
1:30pm - 3200-meter run, shot put, discus, and pole vault
We will follow the running schedule after the 3200-meter run
We will run the JV Boys and girls 800 at the same time, and possible the varsity's as well. We will make a decision on the 1600 when we get closer to that time.
As of now, we plan to run all the hurdle races and 100 like normal. IF, the forecast changes then we will adjust as well.
Cheer tryouts are tomorrow in the new gym. High School at 1:30. Junior High at 2:30. Parents may attend the whole group portion and will need to exit before the individual performances.
The elementary students at Cherokee ISD enjoyed celebrating Read Across America Week!! Thank you to all the volunteers for taking the time to read to our students!!

Today we had staff development and STAAR training day. To make the day more enjoyable we hosted our First Annual Chili Cook-off!! The winner was Kari Owen!!! She won the "golden bowl award"!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY from CISD!!! The PreK, Kindergarten and Jr High GT students visited the San Saba Nursing Home to wish them a Happy Valentine's Day. They shared cookies and presented cards. The students ended their visit by singing "Your Are My Sunshine" to the residents!!
