Attention all new high school students. This includes incoming freshman. Please do not forget a $25 Chromebook deposit is due before your student can receive a Chromebook charger. If your student turns the charger in every year they will receive the $25 back at graduation. Returning Students: If your student did not turn in their charger at the end of last year they also will be required to pay another $25 before receiving another charger. Registration for New and Returning students & Student Schedules will be from 4pm-6pm today 7.25.24 for Pre K-12th grades. Registration will be completed through ParentPortal. You can start early from your home or wait until you are at school. Go to our website at www.cherokeeisd.net, click on ASCENDER Parent Portal to begin. Each student has a unique Student Portal ID. Contact the office if you need portal ids for your children (325) 622-4298. We would appreciate all parent/guardian and students attendance so schedules and forms that require signatures can be completed today. New student registrations will need to bring birth certificate, social security card, shot records and previous school records.

The 2024-2025 school year is right around the corner. Registration for new and returning students is scheduled for Thursday, July 25th, 4-6pm in the cafeteria. The district is transitioning to an online registration process. We will send out more information once that goes live. High school students will be able to pick up their class schedules at registration. PK-6th grade Meet the Teacher and Meet the Indians will beTuesday, August 6th (time and more info to come). It's hard to believe the school year is coming to an end!! On Thursday, May 23, 2024, we will have our awards ceremonies in the new gym. 9 am - Elementary, 10 am - JH and HS, NHS will follow the awards, and Graduation practice is at 12 pm; Early release for students is at 12 pm. The Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremony is Friday, May 24, 2024, at 8:00 pm in the new gym. Have a safe and fun summer!!!

STAAR and EOC Testing dates will be sent out next week.
