  • Cherokee ISD has added two new staff members. Welcome Aboard!!

     Shea Gartman has been hired as a Math Teacher and will assist in the Business Office.

     Josh Raulston has been hired as a Jr. High Science Teacher with some coaching duties.

  • Cherokee ISD is announcing new hires for the 2015-2016 school year.

    Randy Gartman is coming to Cherokee as the Principal. Mr. Gartman is coming from Forsan ISD.
    Wayne Stigler will be the Football Coach/Teacher. Coach Stigler is coming from Veribest ISD.
    Cody Bridges is the new Ag Teacher from Brady.

    Jack and Annette Shely have accepted a position at Veribest ISD.

    Jimmie Cearley has accepted a position at Ranger Elementary School.

    SCHOOL MESSENGER
    Cherokee ISD has teamed up with School Messenger to improve our notification system to parents. Parents have been receiving letters from the district describing this new service. A text went out from School Messenger yesterday asking parents to opt-in. The law requires you to consent before you can receive text messaging. If you do not opt-in, you will receive no further text messages. You may text y to 68453, this will opt you in as well.
    Please call us wtih any concerns that you have. Your child's safety is important to us.
